Forgiving What You Can’t Forget

October 8 - November 19

Do you desire to finally move forward from the hurt, betrayal, or painful experiences that continue to impact your life?

Join House of Hope for our fall class, Forgiving What You Can’t Forget, based on the book by Lysa TerKeurst. Together, we’ll bring our personal hurts into the light of biblical truth, letting Scripture shape how we understand forgiveness, healing, and grace.

Throughout this class, we’ll discover that forgiveness is often a daily choice and a gradual process—not an instant fix, forgetting what happened, or excusing someone’s harmful behavior.

Together, we’ll learn how to:

• Make the choice to forgive while honestly working through difficult emotions
• Release unresolved hurt, betrayal, and bitterness
• Recognize and disempower emotional triggers connected to past pain
• Understand forgiveness through the lens of Scripture
• Stop allowing yesterday’s wounds to control today
• Find greater freedom and peace as we surrender our pain to God

You may not be able to change what happened to you, but through Christ, your past does not have to control your present.

Come ready to learn, process, and discover what it looks like to walk in forgiveness and freedom—one day at a time.
